About Us
The Columbia University Biotechnology Association is a student-run organization that seeks to promote awareness of biotechnology-related career opportunities. The focus of CBA is to provide students and post-docs the necessary information to transition smoothly from an academic setting to the professional field. Throughout the year the association hosts a variety of seminars, field trips, career fairs, and networking events that allow members to meet and learn from various professionals in the field. Corporate sponsors predominantly fund all of the Club’s events and as a result, are given numerous opportunities to interact with club members throughout the year. Membership is free to all Columbia University students, faculty and staff.

Our Mission
The objective of the association is to provide an environment that will allow our members to begin networking in a biotechnology professional field. Club members come from a variety of backgrounds, including undergraduate, Masters, Ph.D and M.D. students, post-doctoral fellows, Columbia University professors, and industry professionals.
